A Cold Shower A Day Keeps The Doctor Away! ๐ŸงŠ๐ŸงŠ

Cold showers have been a topic of hot debate over the past couple of years, advocates claim numerous health benefits, while skeptics believe this practice is uncomfortable and unnecessary. I incorporated cold showers into my daily routine at the beginning of college and now I swear by them. They force me to be completely present in the moment and nothing else in the world matters during these couple minutes. The stress, overthinking, and negative emotions are literally being flushed from my body. Additionally, there is countless data stating the benefits such as improved circulation, boosted immune system, increased alertness, focus, clarity, and decreased stress. Cold showers sound like a super drug, well they are, but the caveat is forcing yourself to search for discomfort first thing every morning. I won't lie, getting into a cold shower right after waking up is probably the most uncomfortable way to start the morning. It never gets easier and I always have to wrestle with myself to get into the shower๐Ÿฅถ. However, there has never been a day where I regretted taking a cold shower. I urge everyone to slowly introduce cold showers into their daily routine and see the benefits for themselves. This could be spending the last 10 seconds of your shower in cold water and slowly increasing the time over time. You will never need another cup of coffee to start your morning and wonโ€™t ever look back.
