The Signature of a Lifetime! ✍️🎾❤️
I was touched in a special way this week by the handsome man in the picture above. Last week he had the opportunity to travel to the Cincinnati Open "Professional Tennis Tournament" and watch an astounding amount of tennis🎾. His tennis IQ is equivalent to that of Albert Einstein.🤓 He knows everything and anything about most of the top 50 players and can tell you random facts about any player inside the top 100. For him, this tournament was paradise and he had two days to live up every single second of it. I'm sure he was running from practice court to practice court trying to get as many of his favorite player's signatures onto a jumbo-size tennis ball.
Right before he left, I asked him in a half-serious manner to try and get a signature from one of my favorite tennis player "Emma Raducanu". Little did I know how much it meant to him to get this signature for me. He ended up going to 4 separate practices trying to get her signature and even went to a photo shoot . All with no luck. Keep in mind that there are hundreds of other matches and practices going on with players that he loves, but he sacrificed so much of his time to try to get this signature for me. I feel bad now thinking about how much time and effort he put into getting this signature... On his final night there, Emma was playing in the main stadium and just won. My brother in a last ditch effort somehow snuck his way down to the court entrance, sneaking past security guards, sliding past adults, and shimmering his way to the front of the pack. The rest is history from there. I was so happy and excited when he gave me the ball, but I was completely speechless after listening to the story of what he did for me. I don't have the words to explain how amazing he made me feel, just exceptionally proud and loved. Internally my heart was weeping tears of joy for sure.😭💓 Regardless of where my path in life may take me, at least I get to experience highs and lows with my best bud chu! You never know when you'll find these gems in life, whether it be people or experiences. When you do find these gems, promise me never to forget them:)
