Pineapple Pizza 🍕 🍍 🥳

My uncle was hosting a make-your-own pizza party this weekend and I was happy to take a break from studying to make some pizza and watch tennis. We made all types of pizzas ranging from Mediterranean pizza to super burnt Mexican style pizza hahaha. I got to play around with the pizza oven a couple of times and had a blast. Granted I put the pizza too close to the flame the first time and charred the crust to a nice molten black color😄! But hey, had a blast and ended up cutting around the crust. Just as with any pizza party, we were faced with arguably one of the biggest unsettled debates worldwide. Should pineapple be allowed on pizza? I for one fully support pineapple on pizza. There's nothing quite like the sweet roasted pineapple and savory Canadian bacon to make your tastebuds want to dance 💃! The Hawaiian pizza we made was wonderful and honestly my favorite of the night. It's funny how a couple of years ago I would have never touched a pizza with pineapple on top. It wasn't until a couple of friends introduced me to Hawaiian pizza that I understood where all of the hype was coming from. My Italian friends roll their eyes and give a disgusted look anytime I mention pineapple and pizza in the same sentence🤣. Sometimes we just need to have an open mind and try new things. It's easy to get stuck in our ways, especially if we feel comfortable doing so. Be adventurous, try new things, and find something new that you can throw some pineapple on 😄!
