Unicorns 🦄 + Treasure Hunts🗺️ + Hide and Seek Champions🥇

I was reminded this week by a very special someone to never let go of the inner kid inside of us. We searched for treasures and unicorns🦄 in the park, became hid and go seek champions, dressed up as our favorite superheroes 🦸‍♀️ and sang along with Ana and Elsa from Frozen❄️. Through each of our adventures, I saw the twinkle in her eyes and the pure happiness she radiated. Her imagination, creativity, love, and contagious laugh brought me back to a simpler time. As a kid, I remember always grabbing the white dandelion plants to blow and make a wish. All summer vacation I would do so and always wish for something ridiculous like a gazillion dollars🤑 or that I was a Pokémon master haha. Why did I ever stop wishing for crazy things? It’s cute as a kid to have these wild imaginations and crazy aspirations, but as an adult, it brings judgment and funny looks from others. Granted, I probably should not be aspiring to become a Pokémon master at this stage of my life, but what is stopping me from wanting to figure out time travel, build the biggest business, design flying cars, or whatever else my imagination can think of. Instead of cultivating your imagination and letting creativity drive us to new adventures, the hustle and bustle of our daily lives constricts and locks us into a set compliant mindset. Once we begin to let go of our imagination and creative minds, we start to lose our individuality and simply become another statistic. Something I admire about young kids is they only know how to live, act and be their true selves. Their actions, intentions, and behaviors are pure. I am not suggesting that we all start acting like kids, however, we should never lose the inner child inside each one of us. Let that kid dream and aspire to be the best they can become. Dream it, envision it and then make it a reality.

Forever appreciative of the treasures I have in my life and will do my best to continue searching for those magical unicorns… I’ll update the post once I find them :)

Love ya KR! 💖💖🦄🌈
